Ingredients

  • 3 very ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or neutral oil)
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 scoop Vitauthority chocolate whey protein powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a loaf pan.

Step 2

Mash bananas, then whisk in applesauce, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

Step 3

Fold dry into wet until just combined.

Step 4

Let batter rest 3–5 minutes, then fold in chocolate chips.

Step 5

Pour into pan and smooth top.
